St. Charles Parish School opens the Fall 2017-18 School Year with much excitement and enthusiasm. Three new classrooms along with a dedicated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Lab open in late August as students are welcomed back to the Catholic school. Students and families will also see a new concessions stand, a remodeled gym entrance and vestibule and new bathrooms.
A Grand Opening to celebrate the First Phase of the St. Charles Parish Campus Expansion takes place on Sunday, Aug. 6 from 10 am to 1 pm. All are welcome to tour the new addition and meet staff, students and families.
The First Phase is part of THE CORNERSTONE PROJECT – Answering Christ’s Call, a multi-year Capital Campaign that addresses facility needs and resources for a growing church and school population. Long-term plans call for a new church to be built on the property with the existing church to be reconfigured into meeting spaces and offices.
St. Charles is the 5th largest parish in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee with more than 2,600 families and nearly 7,200 parishioners. Enrollment at St. Charles Parish School is 295 students, up from about 160 students in 2009.
